On April 24th 2019, Reel Nation Media released the sci-fi adventure short film teaser for Dead ED, a film that has been on director Abdullah Abu-Mahfouz’s back-burner for some time now. The teaser mostly features quick action cuts of the film’s two leads, played by Adam Gibbins (Khan) and Zachary Peek (ED, the robot) as they fight with bandits and amongst themselves in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

More About Dead ED
In the post-apocalyptic future, a desperate nuclear waste manager and his only friend, a robot named ED, are forced on the run when a pack of bandits hunts them down. Little do they know that the two comrades pose an even greater threat to one another.
Dead ED was funded on Kickstarter in July 2013. The film went into production until March 2014. Since then, the film has been in post-production because of the extensive visual effects for the size of the staff working on it.
The film’s release is estimated during late June 2019.
